Drivers in search of drives
Thought this might be as good a forum to ask as anywhere...
Seems there are several high profile champions from last year whom one would expect to see in GP2 who haven't been able to get a seat.
Anyone know where any of the following are headed this year?
Euroseries champion Paul Di Resta
Renault WS champion Alx Danielsson
Renault WS series front runner Andy Soucek
Surely they must be able to get drives somewhere ?

Soucek is signed in Gp2 with David Price's team. Di Resta will race at DTM as far as I know. Danielson came close of the 3rd and res. role at STR (deal allegedly went to Viso instead), then he came close of singing a deal with Racing Engingeering (again, the deal went to Jimenez appearently) not sure where he'll end up eventually (i suspect he might still get into Gp2 even if not for the whole season, maybe he can do some STCC till the right deal comes up)

Any news on British-licensed Indian driver Karun Chandhok ? Was he confirmed by Durango? He did well in the GP2 test this winter.

I think Chandhok will start the season at Durango. He might even finish it.

Alx Danielsson has signed to race in the Euroseries F3000. He also tries to get a F1 test drive at some point in 2007.
