Skoda Fabia WRC (1600T)
Skoda has gotten a lot of experience from S2000, and have produced a winner there.
They have the basis for a 2011 WRCar, and just need to change the engine basically, and VAG has the 1600T engine to tune from.
Are Skoda building a 1600T engine, and planning to enter WRC in 2011, but keeps it a secret ?

I heard that Skoda will not make a 1,6 Turbo for 2011, but maybe for 2012... They like to fight for victory in IRC apparently....!!!!

If VAG wants Škoda to enter WRC, they will. Otherwise no way.

i think all the manufacturers are waiting to see what the costs of the new cars will be from maintenace point of view, development ects before making any decisions also the marketing value of the new format and also spectator reactions....then they will decide if its worth spending money on it.

They like IRC and S2000 because they are making big money and getting a lot of exposure out of it, how many costumer Fabia S2000's are out there? either for rent or sold. They wont enter WRC (S1600) until it proves to be as good for business as IRC/S2000 cup.
