Evernham has interest in 2011 Indy 500
Ray Evernham said on local Indy radio today that he has been "intrigued" with a couple potential deals in the works that would "bring him back out of retirement" for the 2011 Indy 500.
Not sure in what capacity (crew chief? team owner?), but it sounds like he has been in contact with someone about being a part of a Indy Car team.

That sounds like a good job for him. Selling his team to Petty involved a non-compete clause so it's not like he can do anything NASCAR related.

Ray is chafing to do more than talk about racing. I just hope whatever he does, he doesn't let him consume him. That team ate him up......and Ray has to just balance himself. It was a sad day the day he sold out to the Gillette's and lost control of his racing....
