IRC candidate Rally Estonia
It is at the same week as rally Acores. 16-18th of July.
More information here: http://www.rallyestonia.ee/2010/
First entries have received already: http://autosport.ee/rallyreg/?page=2...=80&lang_id=2&
This event has been always popular among those who like to have some practice before rally Finland (one and half week later).
Those who have more time and plan to visit rally Finland I suggest to visit this rally as well.
Nice jumps, nice lakes, warm weather, good beer :-)
Another news just arrived that Markko Märtin takes part in this rally with Focus WRC

there's no such thing as an IRC-candidate event. there are WRC-candidate events, a status which one could obtain by paying 100-150K euros to FIA.

Yeah, the name is different but the general point is the same. Some kind of officials are coming to the rally to see if it meets all the requirements and what are the contras and what are the pros to include the event into the series.
Latest updates about the entries.
1.It was said that Georg Gross is going to run newer model of Focus in this rally.
2.Gardemeister is coming. Car is not sure yet. He hopes to get 4WD car but if not then he will use his BMW
3. There is high possibility that Ketomaa will come with Fiesta as well.
4. There are negotiations with Kresta in S2000 car.
5. Tänak will be there with his usual Subaru
They hope to get approximately 10 WRCars and about the same number of S2000 cars.Colins Crest = Möldri Mätas

I dont believe to Kresta with S2000 car. If he will go, he will use Mitsubishi. But Martin Prokop should be there with Fiesta.

Yes, Prokop and Kakko are in entry list already with Fiestas and Shaymiev with 207 S2000. I might have heard it wrong about Kresta, maybe they just said that they hope to get him with GrN car.

Bluuford, is there a chance that Gross could enter NORF with Focus or will he settle for Group N entry?

Markko Märtin is officially on the list, but co-driver's place is marked for "TH", which means "will tell you later"...
I think we saw this one coming, didn't we?
