Nascar taking over the (motorsport) world?
Nasar seems to be actively trying to expand overseas, possibly with future revisions of their Car of Tomorrow (COT) rules. Since Ford/GM form the backbone of V8 Suprcars, partially own Cascar and can influence Brazillian stockcars, is Nascar slowly going to take over the silhoutte/touring car world? Will they be succesful? Can anything stop them? Or perhaps could they teach Europeans a thing or two about proper sponsorship/marketing techniques? What are your thoughts?
