    [LMS10] 8H of Le Castellet...

    Hi,


    Next week is the first event of the 2010 Le Mans Series races, held in France on the Paul Ricard track...it's time to create the thread of it then

    First meeting between the LMP1 diesel factories prototypes, Peugeot(ORECA)with Olivier Panis/Nicolas Lapierre/Stéphane Sarrazin and Audi with Allan McNish/Dindo Capello/Tom Kristensen

    Two Lola Astons in(official + privateer Signature)and two Lola Judds(Rebellion from Switzerland)

    Presence of Formula One stars Jean Alési and Giancarlo Fisichella in the AF Corse GT2 Ferrari
    First also for the GT2 BMWs

    Presence of the ex-Formula One Champion Nigell Mansell's sons in the LMP1 Ginetta Zytek

    Debut in LMP2 of the Honda powered(Acura)Strakka and Lola Coupé

    But in the same time no Pescarolo in LMP1 class and no Kolles R10s neither

    Should be good, and quite interesting. Eurosport are only showing a fraction of the race Live. However, Radio Le Mans will have full coverage, as is usual.

    Fully expect Audi to win.

    Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

    I would be surprised if someone other than Audi win. the R15s are very reliable, and have the right drivers in the car for this race.

    will have to wait for Spa to see the big race where everyone is entered
    Brian France is a violation of Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing)

    if the factory team ran the race, I'd say its 50/50, but with the privateers in the hands, the drivers aren't as familiar with the car.

    we saw in the testing that Orecas Spyder was faster in a few sessions than their 908
