    David Ragan and David Gilliland

    Both were vertial unknown's this time last year but both managed Top 10 finishes in the Daytona 500. Well done to both

    This time last year Gilliland was only running part time with an underfunded Busch team while Ragan was only running in Truck.

    In 2005 Gilliland ran just two Busch races at Phoenix while Ragan was running part time for an underfundered Busch team. Neither looked like anything special.

    What a difference a year makes.

    They both did good. However their ranking at the end of the season will tell the tale. Therefore I ain't putting either of them in for rookie of the year yet. Eligible or not??
