Stages will be different. Dunkerque looked more like typical flanders road.
Samer is more like Normandy. Some stages were used by Le Touquet a long time ago. There's some hills. That's quite unique in Nord Pas de Calais.
But maybe it will be difficult to spectate due to the hedges between the fields. I need to study maps

Tomorrow saturday starts the Rallye terre des Cardabelles, penultimate round of the french gravel championship: new duel between Cuoq(C4 WRC)and Baud(Fiesta WRC)

It will be also the penultimate round of the Peugeot 208 Cup...I guess Antonio Suarez can be winner of the overall competition this coming week-end

    Result will be on http://www.brennusinfo.fr/

Currently is running the Final de la Coupe de France des rallyes, the traditionnal event that gathered all the "best" drivers during the french rallies season

This year the Finale is running in northern France(Pas-de-Calais, in the city of Samer)
Weather terrible(rainy, muddy, slippery)...lots of drivers on the retirements list since yesterday evening friday

First unlucky driver was also favourite for the win: Bruno Longépé(208 T16)crashed and had a puncture on SS1, apparently too much damage to the car to continue

For now after SS5 Dominique Rebout and Jérôme Galpin are leading in their 207 S2000s, but Jean-Charles Beaubelique is only 11" off behind the leader and three stages remain

Haha, terrible conditions yes. Fortunately I didn't drown

Quite nice stages, but mixed experience. My first pass was nice, with terrible conditions - gravel roads with some ruts. We could see the guys who attacked and the others ...
Then a 90 corner with S corners after, with mud in the S. A lot of 2WD were too cautious, quite disappointing, probably due to the rain.
And finally, I saw a stage more or less without rain. Fast corners on a way down from an hill, with a 90 corners ending it. Here you saw why most of them where here, much more attack.

The rally ended with drama, as Rebout (leader) and Beaubelique (3rd) retired during the last stage ! So Galpin won But he had mechanical problems, and there was a lot of suspens if he was able - or not - to come back to Samer !

    Hello all,

Here our video from Rallye Cardabelles, that made Cohete Suarez winner of 208 Cup!

We will wait the Var Rallye for the Junior Title, between Berfa and López.

Entrylist of next week's Critérium des Cévennes(penultimate round of the french tarmac championship)available on http://www.asaherault.fr/#Criterium_des_Cevennes.C

Not a big entry for big cars though...the victory should be to either Pierre Roché or Yoann Bonato

Every year the same here ... time to put it in D2 and let another event going into first division.
Nice opportunity for Bonato. I hope he could win.

Rallye du Var always has a good entry list. But for this year ... I don't know. Cuoq could be titled this week end, so he won't go to the Var. Maurin will do Vaucluse (gravel), so he won't go to the Var too. Expected "top" entries are Salanon (Fiesta WRC), Brunson (Fiesta WRC), Roché (Mini WRC), Magnou (206 WRC), Bonato (208 T16), ...

You can follow entries there : http://www.var-rallye.fr/
(Concurrents Nat --> Liste des engagés)

    Only the beginning, let's wait.
