French cup week end
Rallye Régional des Monts du Lyonnais : in the hills near to Lyon.
As usual, a very good field of cars (125). The top crews were Michel Giraldo (207 S2000), Joël Arnaud (Fiesta R5), Yves Pezzutti (306 Maxi) and Rémy Risaletto (Escort Cosworth). Two swiss drivers came with their DS3 R3 (Scheidegger and Bron).

No surprise, with the victory of Giraldo. All the top crews are in the Top 5. Great race by Bonnefond, with a surprising 206 CC, achieving a podium.

Rallye Régional du Pays de Caux : here we are in Normandy, between Rouen and Le Havre, close to the Seine.

A good field of cars too, with 115 starters. Top 4WD crews are Pruvot and Christiann, with Celica GT-Four, but too Pascal Deroy (207 S2000) and Olivier Boinet (306 Maxi), and a lot of Evo : Dutot (IX), Bourgeois and Vanson (VIII), and the Subaru of Gonnet. Some 2WD crews are really good, as Leclerc (Clio II) or Brion (Clio III).

It finally ended with a quite large (for a regional) victory of Pruvot.

This week end in French Cup …

Rallye National de Grasse (D2) : it's the southest event of the series, using some stages of the Monte Carlo, as the Turini. Some guys came from the North or West, as Barbara and Faucher. But none of them score.
The victory came to Dominique de Meyer, as usual I would say, as it's his 11th victory there !

Rallye Régional du Pays d'Olliergues : here we are in Auvergne, east of Clermont-Ferrand. Not so many top cars, except a Punto S2000, so it let the place for others.
It's the good Pascal Bérard, with a Clio R3, who won, by a few margin on two F2000 cars.

Rallye Régional Autocourse : here we are close to Tours, and closer to Amboise, where there's a famous castle among the Loire. Two top crews : Fauguet (207 S2000) and Cosson (Porsche).
As Fauguet had troubles, it let Cosson alone for the win.

Rallye Régional de Vervins : here we are in Picardy. This event is a bit in the middle of nowhere. We are close to the Ardennes, the Nord or Belgium (Chimay).
There was no belgian, but some frenchs running in Belgium as Tournay and Bricout. Other top crew was Christiann. It was a close fight, but at the end Tournay won against Christiann.

Rallye Régional de Faverges : here we are in the Alps, close to Albertville. As usual there, there was a lot of S2000 (3) + 1 R5. Chavanne and Giraldo were the top crews, and they didn't fail to fight for the success. Finally, it was a victory for Chavanne.

Rallye Régional du Frontonnais : here we are between Montauban and Toulouse. The favorites were Julien Marty (Lancer IX) and Lionel Espinasse (Lancer X), but both retired. So Alexandre Bourrel, a serious outsider, took advantage of it and achieved his first victory.

Rallye National de l'Anguison : we are in the heart of Burgundy, in the middle of nowhere, in the "Morvan".
The level wasn't high … Daniel Fores, with his 306 Maxi, dominated the race, in front of Jérémy Dapoigny's 207 S2000.

Rallye Régional de Neufchâtel en Bray : we are in Normandy. The city is between Rouen and Amiens, more or less. It's known for his cheese, but the rally is quite nice too for a régional. Roads are really beautiful there. Pustelnik with a 208 T16 won, but Pruvot (Celica), and Roussel (Porsche) did a good race too.

Rallye Régional de la Rivière Drugeon : we are in Franche-Comté, close to Pontarlier and Switzerland. The R3 made the law, and it's Prevalet who beat Guigou, with a great margin.

Rallye National de la Fougère : to finish our Tour de France, we were in Aquitaine, north of Bordeaux. Their was a nice field of top cars, with various WRC (Mini for Jean-luc Roché, Impreza for Martin, …), and S2000 for Jérôme Galpin and Luc Taveneau. But not so many cars, around 60 only. Galpin won logically, as he is a very good driver, with national level. The others were far away, and Purrey finished 2nd with his Lancer Gr. N.
