why are my threads being deleted when i add my own photos

I've looked at the threads and the moderator notes say that the reason for deletion is 'adverts'.


Whilst I appreciate that the pictures you attached are your own work, you'll forgive me for pointing out that they do rather seem to be touting for business.

The general rule regarding promotion of a members own business or a website is that it is permissable for the member to have a link to their website as their signature - not to submit threads and post messages about it.

The threads I have seen deleted tend to be purely about what you do with your art and that is construed to be advertising.

I'm sure one of my colleagues will be able to clarify this situation for you if my response is not acceptable to you.
