I'm not so sure about that, his dad was competitive(and won) at 53, also, When Mario was 44 in 1984, he had 6 wins and was CART champion.(4 road course wins, 2 oval wins) I actually think people write off drivers too soon today.

Yeah, but that's his dad. I think Mikey is too worried about who is looking at his new wife. You know how things effect his huge ego, lol.

I hope Marco gets one in the next 2 years. Hopefully he'll be in a F1 car after that.

Yea, me too. But I also think the drivers themselves don't want to go on much beyond 40. It was Mike's choice to retire, he could've continued like forever and a day.
I think that in racing age isn't as critical a factor as in other sports. If you're in good shape and you're a talented and motivated guy than at your mid30s you're actually at the ideal racing age.

Good to see a legend back of course especially such as Michael. Would be nice to see him finally win BUT he can only continue on so long. Maybe its time to hang the helmet up for good and watch his son race who is the real deal at the moment. He was abit of the pace last year BUT his vast experience in indy car racing over the years helped alot so he is a wild card.
