Roger Albert Clark Rally 09 Important news
Copied from http://www.britishrally.co.uk:
It is with great regret that I have to inform you all that the promotion company R.A.C. Rally Ltd which was set up to look after the financial affairs of the Roger Albert Clark Rally has had to go into voluntary liquidation as of the 20th April 2009.
The event organisers the De Lacy Motor Club Ltd have asked the organising committee to look at the best options available to continue with the running of the Rally.
The event organising committee have applied to the MSA to set up a new motor club on a not for profit organisation basis to continue the event moving forward.
The organising committee should be in a position to announce the event after the new motor club has been set up with the MSA.
It is requested that the motorsport public give the organising committee some time to ensure that the future of the most popular event in the motorsport calendar is on a sound basis for years to come.
It is envisaged that a full announcement can be made during late May.
Regards
Colin Heppenstall
Rally Manager

Hope it stays alive, if this event goes then it really does look bad for rallying
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

Dont think there is much doubt that the event won't run, in fact this news kind of makes it more likley! Dont cross it out of your diary. Will try and post more news here as and when it becomes available.

If there was one event a year that I would sacrifice everything to go to, it would be this one, hope something gets sorted out
If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

After my first experience of this event last year, I won't be missing any more in the future

How do people watch that and say there's too many/no need for tarmac rallies? Crazy. Is it sped up footage?
