"Race Control" on VS website
According to the iRacing tab on the Versus site, Race Control is now free all '09 season. I haven't used it before but might check it out for LB:

What's Race Control? Is Versus broadcasting the races online like BBC does with F1?

It is free, which is just as well given this mornings warm up coverage which resulted in a zero score. To say it was 'Useless' would be a tad too complimentary
Here's hoping it improves for the race.. heck I guess anything would be an improvement over this mornings silent blank screen
Just go to the indycar website & register if you're interested...its on the home page under indycar nation, bottom left of screen.

Why can't the IRL just put up the ***** TV feed to their website and make it available for countries that don't have broadcasts?! Inept *****. I guess they think their international fan base is too big and they want to piss of some people who want to watch their products but can't. Even what they put in Race Control doesn't work. *****.

ESPN supposedly has international rights to the broadcast (they aired the St. Pete race live last week, right?). Versus obviously has North American rights. I do not think it is necessarily fair to expect that a product cable stations have paid for should be 100% free to view on the web. I understand that would be a great thing to have, but there are contracts, etc. that go into this sort of thing. As far as Race Control, it might suck, I'll check it out when the race starts.
