Two more besttimes for Wilks, making it four in a row, extending his lead to 28" on second placed Miggins and 36"4 to third placed Morrow.

After stage six, with besttimes for Miggins and Cronin, this is situation:

    1. Wilks
    2. Cronin at 36"9
    3. Miggins at 45"0
    4. Bogie at 1'14"8

Rantanen rolled his Clio on stage 5 and retired.

Bad news for Wilks and the Proton - the bumper caught fire which spread - I'm afraid the car was destroyed. Both the crew are okay.
    Cronin took the win....

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???
