Yes it is! There are roumors WRC cars will be banned in Finland national series during the next 2 years.

This rally has last been in the championship calendar in 2002. I think twisty and difficult stages with a lot of snow.

Indeed the rally was part of the Finnish Championship in 2002 as Nilsiä Ralli. Wasn't the rally held at all (as a smaller local event) in the period 2003-2006?

There has been local events in the same area during that time, some in the winter, some in the summer

WRC cars will not be banned but will not be eligible to collect points in FRC.

Is there (finally) going to be an overall championship for all non-WRCars, or are there still going to be only separate Championships for class N4 and class N3 (and is that one going to include R3 cars)? Is there any talk of Super 2000 cars coming to Finland?
