So, final results of this very difficult and among the crews very popular event. Final video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4v2a...ture=emb_title

    1. Kopecký (Fabia R5 Evo) 1:17:59:1
    2. Pech (Focus WRC) +1:07,7
    3. Černý (Polo R5) +1:49,1
    4. Odložilík (Fabia R5 Evo) +2:22,6
    5. Jakeš (Fabia R5) +2:30,7
    6. Vlček (i20 R5) +4:12,6
    7. Štajf (Polo R5) +4:56,7 (10 sec penalty)
    8. von Thurn und Taxis (Fabia R5 Evo) +4:57,6
    9. Sýkora (Evo IX R4) +6:13,4
    10. Šimek (Fiesta R5) +6:58,5

    2WD:
    1. J. Dohnal (Clio S1600) 1:26:10,5
    2. Stříteský (208 R2) +52,8
    3. Stejskal (Clio R3T) +2:53,1

Stage victories: Kopecký 11, Pech 2, Odložilík 1

Notable retirements: Mareš (Fabia R5 Evo) - run out of fuel, P. Semerád (Fabia R5 Evo) - accident

The last event, Rally Šumava (may COVID allows), is the home event of Pech. It will be very interesting because both Pech and Kopecký can take the title and it's possible that Jari Huttunen will appear again. On the other hand it's likely that the weather will be even worse and also in general Šumava is similar to Pačejov (it's also in the same part of the country).

Why was Kopecky so much in front here? Event more suited to R5 cars? Or was he just driving harder?

It's likely down to combination of several reasons.

Many stages were completely new for everyone and while being also difficult that gives Kopecký an advantage because he is used to create pacenotes and drive according to them in new stages from the international events.
First two stages were damp, the asphalts in the area are generally more slippery than in other Czech events and today was completely wet. That created conditions where you can win a lot if you take some risk or have huge confidence thanks to gazillion testing kilometers in all existing conditions.
While Bohemia was also wet it was a very different event. Pačejov is generally much faster with many crests etc. It favours the suspension and especially confidance over the torque and power.
Some stages (especially the short half-gravel one Komušín) are not very suitable to Focus IMHO. The stage is crazy narrow, half-gravel with some very tight places. The car is too large and sits too low.
Pech did some small mistakes such as stalled engine twice in the same pass through a tight hairpin.
Pech reported some troubles with the turbo boost. In his words nothing major but "we can fight with Kopecký only if everything works perfect".

It's the only factory team and they have obviously strict instructions from their bosses. Otherwise masks are mandatory only indoor here now.

Sorry, I don't keep in mind everytime someone decides to rename an existing thing.

Also, it's called R5 in the homologation. You can check it yourself.

Watching the videos, Kopecky did seem really ‘on it’ which was good to see. He’s often a slightly more cautious driver.

I’m sure there are reasons he does it, but I would much rather see Pech in a good R5 like a Polo or C3. The battle feels a bit meaningless to me when they are driving different classes of car.. plus that Focus is probably one of the most boring WRCs to watch of all time.

One more thing.. the onboard camera positions in the mediasport videos are really good. Great to see the driver in action but also the road!

    Sorry!

I try to ask different way:

Can you use car which is built in 2020 ?
    or only older cars ?

Yes, you can use any FIA eligible car (except 1.6T WRC of both generations, which can be used only in sprint events) plus some older and national cars as well.
