Kronos enters the MERC !!!!
Hi,
As addition to its very busy IRC09 program, belgian team Kronos Racing will also run the entire Middle East Rallies Championship by preparing a 207 S2000 for saudian young promising driver Yazeer Al Rajhi(codriven by experienced frenchman Matthieu Baumel)
Livery of the 207 can be seen on http://www.autosport.cz/clanek.php?cl=7751
Will it be the first time an S2000 enters the MERC or was there one before(and if it's the case, what result did it make) ???

No, it isn't. There was Saudi Corolla S2000 last year in MERC.

The car was prepared by Irishman Gary Emmett and driven by Ahmed Al-Sabban.
Think it only contested a few rounds and usually set times around the lower half of the top ten. Seemed to suffer reliability problems.
