What happens to onboard footage?
I was wondering, in every WRC rally you see small bits of onboard footage on for example Eurosport. Assuming that only a small part of this footage is aired on TV, what happens with the rest of it, is it sold separatly or what?

They use complete onboards for the official WRC DVDs ... not all of them of course, just some (Loeb, Bosse, Solberg ...). The others go to the archive I think :S
Onboards of WRC.com quality suck ! And they are never 'complete'.
I would pay to download complete stages of the drivers I want, on every rally. Say, a couple of euro for a stage or so (more ?). High quality at least 640x480, so I can burn it on a DVD and see on my TV 32" 16/9 100hz ^^

onboard footage in WRC events is owned by ISC. I guess they keep it in digital archives somewhere.
