According to https://www.rallylink.it/cms20/index.php/tuscan-2020 Marco Bulacia is 2020 Italian gravel champion. Despite competing in 3 rallies only. So fast are the Italian drivers.

Gravel championship is not so popular in Italy like CIR. Leader of championship before this rally Andreucci was now starting with Rally4, so lost his chances without battle. So only rivals were Costenaro and Campedelli who should win quite easily the championship if he dont crash on last race.

Lukyanuk and Solberg have won almost everybody at any country.

I remember that Kalle was fast, but not reliable. He had a crash in nearly each rally.

When it comes to the speed of Italian drivers, I'll give you an example. Alberto Battistoli can't be called a fast driver. In Rally Liepaja he was 17th overall. In Rally di Roma Capitale 20th. But in Tuscan Rewind he is easily third. Does it look like a highly competitive championship?

CIR used to be great a few years ago - with Andreucci, Basso, Aghini, Travaglia, Rossetti etc, but I'm afraid those times are long gone, if a 19-year-old kid from Bolivia comes and wins the championship in just 3 rallies.

He clipped curb on Ciocco damaging his suspension. In Adriactico he actually crashed or went off the road twice before retiring. Salento he hit a rock in a blind corner that was risen to the road from the previous driver who had cut that corner and you dare to call that "crash in nearly each rally"
He would have also finished P2 in adriatico but electricial / fuel related issue stopped him on the final liaison and did pretty well in Rome, all that in piece of a shit 208 while being 17

Also Bulacia did same rallies in Italy already back then.

Andreucci somehow made the 208 work for him, there aint many who were able to do it with that car.
