I think Mirek means in comparison with Fabia and Fiesta.
Even Neuville wasn't convincing compared to the local Belgian drivers with Fabias in Ypres.

For the car, which is in production for five years, if I'm correct; those troubles are strange....
We had broken wheel hub on Fiestas R5 also on Barum (Pech and Cerny), co nothing special. Broken axleshaft can also happen, dont forget that he was doing FP and QS before, also that mickey-mouse stage was ideal for breaking this things...

Guys I've been absent from this forum for a while so maybe you have already talked about this but I've just been told that next year Crugnola could be driving Polo R5 at CIR. Did you know about that?

It will be interesting to see how fast the car is on Your really twisty asphalt stages. Polo has very long wheelbase for a modern rally car and together with no center differential it might be a disadvantage.

Wouldn't surprise me because DMax-HK Racing (team that ran his Fiesta R5) will get 2 Polo's this winter.

WRC cars in Italy. How much more than R5s do they cost to run?
Did Hyundai Motorsport Italia clone Neuville?

New calendar 2019: No more San Marino, Adriatico and Elba.

Sardinia is back (together with WRC) and is splitted in 2, along with Rally Friuli.
"Tuscan Rewind" a gravel rally in Tuscany that was also a show of old cars is now an event of the championship.

Some event have a 1,5 coefficient because they love to make things complicated without any sense. And also they love tarmac very much since 6 events are on asphalt and only 2 are on gravel.
