That's the bottom line. Loot on the chute.
The other issue is having a series to run it in that is worth doing. it's all well and good just turning up and going around, but some of us want to be part of something better (how it used to be).
I have an Autograss Class2 Mk2 Escort sitting in my yard. It hasn't turned a wheel in years, and it's next trip on the trailer is to the scrap yard.
Then there's my Nova GSi Modified Production Saloon. It's an "unfinished business" job, and when I get time, I'll finish developing it.
Not to mention the Chevy Lacetti that's waiting for the disc cutter and welder to be turned into a V8 RWD "Thundersaloon" style endurance racer..... With no ASCAR at Rockingham, this project has moved further up the queue.

i doubt ascar will be at rockingham again and if i recall and a few others will remember to how much you enjoyed cadwell. As for passsorts a holiday is a lot cheaper than buying a race car so you can't compare that. I just don't see why you would buy a race car and put it in the garage to be forgot about and not race it.

I'll give the boy his due Tractor, he's keen.
And yes, I enjoyed Cadwell. I always enjoy Cadwell. Not a boys circuit, no!
And a race car is for life. A holiday is (for) Christmas.Team Air Ambulance - Rookie Champions 2007. Support your local air ambulance charity
