    Question A thought question....

You are Ravid Dichards of the highly succesful Droprive racing concern, and a very big sponsor has approached you about supporting an ALMS/ELMS/FIA GT effort in the GTS class. They are particularly interested in a good showing at Le Mans...

    Answer the following:

    1) Who is the nameless sponsor (this is not a question, you designate someone)?
    2) Which car will you choose to campaign and why (some rationale would be nice)?
    3) As it will be a 2 car effort name 4 drivers you'd like to see driving. Assume it is 'free agent' time amongst sportscars drivers

Feel free to add any thoughts, etc...

    Have fun!

Aren't Prodrive the ones who have developed the race version of the Aston Martin DBR9?

: Yep... it is David Richards/Pro Drive company that has been racing the Aston Martins in ALMS.

Richards is now in Formula 1 and seems to be doing a deal with McLaren/Mercedes... this may be demanding all of his time.

I hope someone/team steps up and competes against the Corvettes in GT-1 this year. Maybe Aston Martin/Jaguar, the new Viper, or the Ford GT 43" will appear.
