Seems after Klien/Liuzzi at Red Bull Racing, Villeneuve/Kubica/Vettel at BMW and Montoya/DelaRosa at McLaren seat sharing/early seat swapping is now becoming an F1 norm

Adrian Valles on the brink of Formula One

Reports that Spanish youngster Adrian Valles has landed a Spyker test deal are gaining momentum.

The newspaper Marca now claims that the 20-year-old GP2 racer last week put pen to paper on a one year deal that will be announced at the launch of the Dutch team's 2007 car on Monday.

The same publication also reveals that Valles' management is pushing for a one-off race seat for the Spanish Grand Prix in May.


It is further understood that Valles, who finished just 16th in the GP2 standings last year, secured the Spyker seat with the aid of backing from the Valencia race circuit.

He made his F1 test debut with the team at Silverstone last September.

My feeling is that Spyker may announce 2 new testers at their launch next week, and I have a feeling this will be out of:

- Adrian Valles (Spain)
- Marcus Winkelhock (Germany)

Don´t trust everything they say. Marca tends to "spice up" their headlines to sell more papers. They are constantly "creating" incredible news just to make things interesting... for them. When they claimed that SEAT was going to enter F1 with a team of their own they made it clear how they deal with news.
