Yes, he had accident last saturday in Hellendoornrally. He destroyes his new Subaru Impreza S12 and both he and his codriver were injured. I don't think he will be able to contest the Catalunya Rally.

Catalunya is already in the begin of October and Mark van Eldik is operated, so he won't be in this rally. Probably his season is even done.

Well, he still got 1 or 2 S12's more I think, so not a problem there. Of course, his injurie could holf him off from participating. He might drive in GB, since he also made a return in the German rally after his horrifying crash in june this year.

I think their season is probably finished.

I think his career is finished. He was already shaken up after his last crash in june. This will settle it I think, he will throw in the towell.
