    Register in IRC ?

What are the pros and cons to register, what do the factory/team say yes to by registering, and does it cost anything ?

As it is a manufacture that registers (and not the team or driver itself), it is a big support to the clients of the manufacture. It makes it easier for the clients to find sponsors (because of the tv coverage) and for the manufacture, if the clients are fast enough, they get into the standings.

The only con is the money of course, it costs money.

I understoot it is negotiated, so it depends on the manufacturer.

Yes, it's up to negotiations. Of course most important players pay more than some with one car
