    European GP, practice qualifying and race

    Time to start a thread for the newest F1 race!

    Not so long before we get the first idea about F1 cars running on this track.

    The tire wear issue seems like a coin toss in Valencia, but I still think that McLaren can pull off pole once again as they did in Hungary. Race pace will probably go to Ferrari.

    It's exciting to be going to a new venue, and particularly a street circuit. Bridgestone have expressed concerns about possible punctures caused by the bridge section so first practice should be interesting.

    No sign of streaming on ITV-F1 (although they lagging by about 10 minutes in Germany so don't expect miracles).

    BBC 5 Live Sports Extra have got Anthony Davidson co-commentating, which is usually entertaining and insightful.
