For me it is not only about the sound, but S2000 was for true rally drivers. To be fast, you must keep it in high revs. Cars with turbo engines are more friendly to "not so top" drivers...
And be 100% accurate. Mistakes mean much time lost, mostly due to a narrow powerband on the NA engine.
same with R2 and R3 NA, now all youngsters are going through a different learning process. They dont even have to worry about turbolagging.....
I think we saw this one coming, didn't we? Like it was for McLaren in their boardroom battle in 2009 onwards, that decimated the potential of the team, and the consequential departure of key staff....
