I had hoped the recent revision of the forum into a separate section for History would be the opening to discuss rally history other than results (which, although I try to contribute, interests me little and nothing like as much as full entry lists do). However, we seem to be back to the previous forum layout/arrangement after a few days! (did I dream it?).

I don't know if you realized it but there is a general motorsport history forum now where this thread also lives.
I would also like to read more about rallyhistory rather than statistics, but sadly I don't have much to contribute in that respect...

Yes it's true. There were 5 group A ZAZ Tavria 1102 on the entry list. Paraguay crew Romeo Sanabria Galeano/ Gosling finished 29th overall. Four other Tavrias (two entered with Argentinians: Alejandro Pracht/Juan Gorbaran and Jorge Maggi/Hector Valles, two other entered by Ukrainians: Anatoli Lakushev/Valeri Tonkoskur and Mikhail Averin/Aleksi Hristev) did not finished or did not start he rally.
