New Ron (Duce) directives
I read somewhere that Ron Dennis is forbidding Alonso from speaking in Italian either in public or in private. Unfortunately I cannot provide you with any links, since the thread that I was reading did not have one but, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this story.
PS Is Spanish next?

Very unlikely to be true, mstillhere. Teams have been known to insist that team members all use English while working, even if it is an Italian talking to an Italian, on the theory that everyone has to understand what everyone is saying at all times. So it's possible that Dennis has forbidden Alonso to speak Italian to an Italian within McLaren, but surely even Uncle Ron wouldn't try to stop Alonso from EVER speaking Italian. That would be madness.

If Ron forbade me from speaking Italian it wouldn't be much of a problem since I don't speak it now.
If legislation makes you equal, you aren't.

As far as i kown Fernando doesn't speak Italian, altough he competed a lot of times in Italy while he was in karting... So surely Ron has forbidden Alonso to speak italian cause he does not speak italian at all!

If he's talking about in the team, then it's perfectly sensible. You need one language. It's just like on the forum if some posts were in English and some in Spanish and some in Italian. Pino would be fine but the rest of us would feel a bit left out
