[FR] Rallye du Touquet Pas-de-Calais...
Hi,
Next week is the northern France round of Tarmac rallies championship
http://www.rallyedutouquet.fr/
Entrylist:
http://racingsite.zonerouge.fr/letou...efinitive2.pdf
We have known entrylists more interesting in the past editions of this event(even last year was better)
Among Foreigners only three or four british crews and two belgian ones...a little light for an event so cloth to UK/Belgium
But anyway action should be still interesting in most of the classes

Timothy Van Parijs was interested, but the running costs are too much for him and the GT's are not the same in France.
Tom, in France there are more Belgians to take part of a rally than French drivers here in Belgium do.
Only 1 Peugeot 306 Maxi is very disappointing.

Southern France rally drivers hate northern France roads(as David Salanon explained last year)...so we can never count of them to fill the Touquet entrylist(unlike rallye du Var, Cevennes, Lyon-Charbonnières, etc)

End of leg 1 after two night stages...
Gaps are already huge because you need experience to run such stages in the dark, and it's raining adding complications to it
Championship leader Eric Brunson has already a comfortable lead of 42s over local driver José Barbara(both drives Subaru Impreza WRC), then comes the first whale driven by Eric Mauffrey(+50s) !!!
Trophée BFGoodrich leader on this rally is Ludovic Gal helped by the 4WD of his 207 S2000 but with a small margin of 5s over trophée leader Arnaud Augoyard(306 Maxi)and Jean-Sébastien Vigion(Clio Kit-car)
Seeing the difficult rally it is, I'm sure many things will happen tomorrow and sunday
