This is a historic occasion. I believe it will be the first time Indy cars have been on that track in 48 years. Talk about a long time between appearances.

Rumor has it that Buddy is in the #5 car for next week's test, not Sarah. Also it is suggested that the 2nd day of testing may feature a simulated sprint race to help build interest in the league and a potential race in Daytona. Will it happen? Who knows, but I sure hope it does. That would be cool.

FYI, This is the second test at Daytona, but your right, it had been since 1959 since an Indy car appeared on track.
