austria is simply one of the few countries without wrc/erc round.
and the reason why austria choose aigner (poland/kosciuszko and czech rep./prokop) is very easy to understand, every country wants to win this shoout out, and thats why they send theire best available man!
sure many of them are in existing teams and they have/had already theire programs, but to "beat" 19 other young guns from all europe you need to send the best ones.
even if this decission fit´s not 100% into the real idea behind the pirelli programm.....to find a new talent.
maybe for the next time they should add an extra point in the regulations:
- only drivers wich never took part in a round of the wrc are able to take part in the shoot out.

I think, in regulations is missing one important sentence - into Pirrelli shootout can be nominated only driver, who wasnt registered into JWRC or PCWRC in the past...

What car type are they going to use ?
I guess thay all are going to use the same car type, is it Evo IX ?
