Yup, you can download Opera (lord help us) from the Wii shop.
Also get Orb for your PC and you've got yourself a free media centre, albeit prety abysmal quality.Useful F1 Twitter thingy: http://goo.gl/6PO1u

I tend to use Opera mini on my phones. Way better than the native browser.
