Picture of Senna sitting in F1 Ferrari - Anyone have the link at all?

Have been looking for this for a while now but to no avail.

I remember, years ago seeing a picture of Aryton sitting in a Ferrari F1 car sat in a pitlane from what must have been the mid 1980's with a Ferrari mechanic or personnel member leaning in talking with him.

Think it was a black and white pic and dont think it was from a test or anything....perhaps more like he was just trying it for size for curiosity.

Does anyone else remeber seeing this pic or indeed have a link or am I simply imagining this?

So, does anyone have any links or anymore information as to what this occasion was about at all?

Im not sure if Senna was an F3 driver at the time or by then an F1 pilot.

Senna had a test with the Penske CART team during the 1992/93 off-season during one of Senna's fights with the FIA, in which the FIA were threatening to turn down Senna's superlicence. Senna tested with the Penske team

It is said that Senna wanted to end his career in Ferrari, but Ron Dennis (CEO of McLaren) stated that he was sure that Senna would have returned to the newly formed McLaren-Mercedes had he lived. Who knows, but the Ferrari photo would have been a classic! Can't wait to see it.

I've read that as well. His plan, apparently, was to stay with Williams for a couple of years which was as long as he thought they would remain on top, then go to Ferrari, regardless of whether the Italian team were competitive or not. As for many before him, Ferrari was Ferrari, and the lure of racing for them was too much to resist.

About the photo, I don't remember seeing Senna sat in a Ferrari, but I do remember a photo of James Hunt occupying Lauda's seat during (I think) their 1976 championship battle. Lauda was shown playfully trying to pull Hunt out of the car. Just think, but for a Vauxhall contract Hunt could have been a Ferrari driver!
