Breaking news: «Rural rally».

In the Rostov region agricultural machines for one day turned into the racing equipment. There was held the tractors’ race. With compulsory program and demonstration runs: one of the participants of this “rural rally” has shown how a sport bolid can be built out of a “Belarus” tractor.

Russia rally – start is getting closer.

On July 9-11, 2009 in the town of Vyborg there will be the main event of the Russian motor sport season – Russia rally. For the third time in a row the strongest pilots and the best racing teams of Europe, participants of the IRC prestigious international series, will be the guests of our country. The best national masters of speed will also compete for the victory.

On May 16 the first Russian Subaru Festival - «Suba-Fest’09» - was held in Moscow.

It was noisy and crowdy on Saturday morning on the grounds of Sergey Uspensky’s Academy of Speed – the first Russian Subaru Festival had been held over here.

An idea born in the STI-Club – the club of the brand’s worshippers – had been picked up by Sergey Uspensky’s Academy of Speed, by the Subaru Motor Russia company and by the manufacturer of Subaru sport cars - «Uspensky Rally Technics» company. With their support the SubaFest turned to be a real big holiday for all worshippers of «six stars». It was the first time in Russia when so many various modifications of Subaru Impreza cars assembled together as it was at the festival in Moscow on Saturday.

PRO-Sport rally team in a rally-raid.

The crew of the PRO-Sport team – Andrey Zhigunov and Igor Ter-Oganesyants – will take part in the second round of the Russian Rally-Raids Championship - «Каrelia-90» baja. For the famous rally duet it will be a debut in a new discipline.

Аndrey who in the rally world has the private title of the «Karelian ace» has decided to try to challenge special stages in vicinity of Suojarvi and Sortavala in a more heavy equipment than habitual Lancer Evo 9. This time he will pilot NISSAN FRONTIER CREW pickup tooled under the requirements of the Super production class.

Welcome to FSTi press-release after the 2nd round of the series, rally Sardinia.

Germany’s Patrick Anglade (21) and co-driver Bjorn Rohm (29) took an impressive victory in the second round of the 2009 Fiesta Sport Trophy International (FSTi) in just his second rally on gravel, beating his nearest rival by just over a minute and finishing 35th in the overall standings. With first-round winner Craig Breen absent from this round of the competition, the young German takes over at the top of the FSTi standings.

Reconnaissance of the «Silk route -2009» rally’s track — «Dakar» series.

Preparation of the «Silk route - 2009» rally is in full speed. Less than three months are left till the start. In May the A.S.O. experts have completed the finishing of the rally’s track in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan up to the finish in Ashkhabad.
