"In terms of event preparation, for 2022 the equation was simple: one day per driver per European round of the championship. For a three-car team this season, that meant 30 days. For a three-car team in 2023, it’s a flat rate of 21 days. If you’re a two-car team, it’s 14 days.

And the teams can use those days wherever and with whoever they like."

Now I'm aware they're a 3 car entry for Monte but Jourdan isn't nominated for points & since he's not going to contest in all 13 rounds do M-Sport still 'enjoy' the 21 days allocated to them? (although they'll be a 2 car team for most of the year).
Only you know your true potential.

Dirtfish is wrong, like they usual are.

For manufacturer teams, no matter how many drivers you have, its 21 days for team. So Tanak could use 20 and Loubet 1, if they want.

The rule: "In the case of a Manufacturer, a maximum of 21 days. In the case of a WRC Team, a maximum of 7 days plus an additional 1 day per entered driver for any second nominated driver, up to a maximum of 7 days per driver and a maximum of 14 days per team."

'We were supposed to have 14 events this year and now 13 and we can only test for half of the events."

So Neuville is wrong too and he can be allocated more days by using those of his teammates?

In what way Neuville is wrong? They have 21 days to split between the three drivers for each rally so Neuville will get seven days, if they split it evenly. And seven is half of fourteen (or roughly half of thirteen).

This is it. A "WRC Team" is the case of Hyundai 2C or Toyota NG.

This is the detail that is confusing people. A WRC Team and a WRC Manufacturer is not the same thing. All of MSport Ford, Toyota and Hyundai are manufacturers this year so they get 21 days and are obligated to nominate at least 2 and maximum 3 cars each rally. We had a team last year, Toyota Next Generation (or NG), and another team the year before, Hyundai 2C. Teams can nominate 1 or maximum 2 cars each rally.

You say 7 days if they split evenly, but they don't have to....
