I am not saying that the forecast will be off by a degree or two. I'm saying that you're better off tossing a coin to predict the weather if you're looking so far into the future.

    Here's why:
After 3 days it is normally very difficult to handle all variables that affect weather in a proper way. You can check in a spaghetti map, the forecast from different weather models. This will indicate how far these forecasts are from each other. The further they are the "unforecastable" is the weather. Check these images: the first one a prediction for today and the second one the prediction for 5 days in advance

Now Imagine what it would look like 13 days in advance.

Feel free to play around with the model here:

Ha ha... I’ve been in many. You’re assuming I’m talking about ground conditions.

What are you on about? I quoted your original post which said "Weather in Wales has been poor since August after 3 months of hot and dry Summer.

It's gone into real Autumn weather already and no sign of it improving. Rally GB could be more like the traditional event of wet and windy"

I pulled you up because the forecast for when the rally is on says it will be bright, sunny spells, not the poor weather you claim. And regarding the 'no signs of improving' bit... the weather has been relatively dry and bright since you said there was no signs of it improving.

Were you just making something up to say, or did you you actually read a forecast?

Jesus, calm down ! I just stated how poor the weather has been and the previous promises of good weather havent materialised.

Even if its dry during the rally, it wont be on the ground.
