It depends. Event PET cars will typically be in the same specification as the ones they will use for the rally, though they may try some new components / settings. It's rare a team will try something on a PET (development parts that have not been homologated for example) that they can't or won't use on an event, unless it's something that needs urgent testing. Meeke had a big gap to Rossel after stage 3 (20 sec) at stage 4 had a puncture and now the gap to Rossel is just 2 sec Gryazin strangely slow,anybody now why?...
