Tänak on tarmac, gravel spec on tarmac and on gravel for Spain https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uL8-vI50ucg

that gravel spec on tarmac is fun to watch

on most of the shots i see they have german spec rims, on some they have some other, like in the beginning of the video when they put helmets on. Also, when they do the gravel spec on tarmac driving, they have the old rear wing.

If he is in Lapland, there is snow already, so could be for Sweden or Monte.
All southern parts of Finland are very very wet, gravel is not fast now, it´s slippery.

on a side note, i sometimes hear at the stage end drivers say they don't know how they got flats/slow leaks/tires off rims/broken rims/etc. and i understand that tires and rims are built to take some abuse and the need to take the racing line and some calculated degrees of risk when necessary, as after all we are talking about the top drivers fighting for tenths of a second. Now after saying that, based on those pictures and the billions of pictures/videos already out there, should it really be such a shock to the drivers when they do indeed get punctures/etc while cutting some of these rutted corners and sharp kurbs/stones at varying degrees?!?! The majority of the time it works out, but sometimes it doesn't, just don't act so surprised when the inevitable happens

Agreed. They seem to believe that because they have recce'd the stages they know where and how far they can cut. But unless they get out at every corner and see what's in the grass they are taking a risk. Plus there is the factor of the car's running ahead of them dragging a stone or revealing one on the corner.
