    CMR2 Corona Rally Mexico

    First gravel event of the year and perfect time to show your ambitions for the season.

    The rally will be run with the following format:
    Game Rally: Kenya
    Shakedown stage: SS7
    Day 1: Single Rally expert level
    Day 2: Single Rally intermediate level

    Deadline for submissions is on Wednesday 5th of March, 15:59 GMT.

    That's the setup I intended on testing, thanks for showing me that it actually works.

    My driving was disastrous on thie stage, I'm slowing down where I shouldn't. That's why I'll be taking the shorter gearbox, and not tannat's +1. If I slow down too much, I won't lose time to get back up to speed. It's the same for long corners, with a long gearbox I tend to run out of power.

    As a shakedown only setup you are correct. However for the rally be certain to go to +1 or you will be kicking yourself as you bump the rev limiter in 6th on SS8

    And damned if I can find any benefit from running anything from 0 though -5 for suspension. No diff in times or in subjective feel from my perspective..

    The biggest difference is you can change direction quicker without excessive lean with stiffer suspension...to me the car does what I want it to straight away. That's very important on the stages that twist their way through the village.

    I'm just seeing no diff in my times with the mods, or getting better feel.

    I need to experiment with this a bit.

    Handbrake is quite handy through the village..
