Fia and Sfi...i need clarification
question... can a sfi suit be used in a fia rally once it passes the lowest requirements of the fia..and once the suits pass the lowest requirements for sfi do they put on the fia tag on the suit?

Barry, unless things have changed very recently, the two standards have no crossover.
Whether your SFI rated gear is OK for an FIA sanctioned event will depend on the event's status and what standard of equipment is specified.
If FIA homologated safety apparell is stipulated then the SFI gear is no good.
I believe that any event appearing on the FIA calendar (i.e. WRC, Regional Championship etc...) will require FIA homologated gear.Never do anything you wouldn't want to explain to a paramedic.

I would have thought it would be best to contact the governing body in whatever country they are going to. In fact ther organisers of the rally would probably know too
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.
