ohhhhh.... my girlfriend's not going to like this!
I'm already running my clio race this weekend and practicing for the V8 race too!
I'm afraid I won't be able to practice at the Festival the way I want to, but I'll run it.
completely open set up, I'm assuming. with no flags on. just keep two wheels on the track.
can we use time trial mode?"Approach racing like billiards - bash the ball too hard, get nowhere." Juan Manuel Fangio

You may as well use Free Race mode - time trial has a very strict corner cutting system on it.
OK, here are the race details
As above, PM me your fastest race lap by Saturday 1000AM GMT. This will decide which one of two heats you are entered for. (1-3-5-7 etc fastest in 1, 2-4-6-8 etc in 2)
You will then have until Sunday Noon to complete your heat race.
The top 50% of the field, or 6 cars, whichever is more, will be entered to the Final, for which the deadline is Monday 8PM GMT, when I will then post the result of the Festival.
The bottom 50% of the field, in other words, those not included in the final will compete in a playoff race with the same deadline to decide the placings.2nd place in the big quizz challenge!

12 laps of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit for the heats. Should take about 8 minutes I guess.
Final will be 22 laps and roughly 15 minutes long.2nd place in the big quizz challenge!
Think it was on SD.
