It seems the car is handling him, not other way around.

Its seems he doesnt trust the car yet, and is correcting the lines too much.

I dont know if its onboard camera, but you can see Mikkelsen is really struggling with the car.

EDIT: Much better already on 2nd loop. Beating Fourmaux and not far from Katsuta.

Its his first rally in Rally1 car after two day tests and its Monte. I'm sure he will pick up the speed little by little.

If Solberg will keep pushing like this, you know whats gonna happen...

In Monte the best result for him would be to reach the finish line. Okay, maybe beat Munster, but thats that. With so little testing there is no way he will much the pace.

Will be interesting to see how Mikkelsen will handle Rally1 car. I bet only one test before Monte wont be enough for him to ''get the feeling'' with the car.

I believe long-term this was the best choice for him, but we will see.

They corrected Munster's time on SS2 ,so now he is only 3sec behind Mikkelsen

And he also missed two of his strongest events (Monte-Carlo and Sweden). That comeback in Greece was spectacular and clever drive combined with speed is what you need to be a champ.
