Went to Hellendoorn Rally yesterday. Thanks to the nice entry list and the gravel parts it is a very nice event to spectate. :)

This incident had nothing to do with gravel on tarmac. The problem is the positioning of spectators in this one. A car can lose brakes on both gravel and tarmac... Other than that, there are more...

In The Netherlands they limited top speed of GT cars to 215 kph and checked it with speed guns during the rallies (as far as I remember they did in 2008), not a bad solution regarding safety....
