There is no way to use new file names for new cars. Game needs just original file names. I did a backup for the original folder CARS to "copy of CARS". Then you can revert any original car...

There are some problems with DS3 lights, but it should not affect whole car visibility. I have no other feedback like your problems .... What OS are you using on your comp?
