For the championship yes, but for me this wasn’t an epic Monte. Early problems of the Hyundai’s meant there wasn’t a battle at the front and WRC2 turned to shit after one day too.

After six stages Kopecky has a 6m30s lead in WRC2..

Very good performance of Sarrazin (finally we see something from the Hyundai R5) and Veiby in RC2.

Kopecky could do better, but actually he only has to compete with Camilli.

They said the option was open to BT to screen more, but i guess they didn't want to pay more.

Looks like only one SS live on BT Sport on Saturday and two one Sunday, including power stage. A little disappointing when we know the whole event is being filmed live.

It was written in another thread that his co-driver will be Degout, who was most recently alongside Sylvain Michel.

Hope Bryan will get some good testing in.

I'm happy to see Bouffier get the third Fiesta if that is indeed confirmed, but I won't be expecting too much from him this time with a new type of car and new and inexperienced co-driver.

I presume they can only nominate a certain number of rounds for WRC2 points and they are not too confident of scoring well on Monte?

Possibly.. Rovanpera is allowed to do the same so maybe that's one way for Kopecky to get a full WRC2 season.

Article a few pages back mentions Kopecky in a Fabia on Monte, but I thought Skoda Motorsport were skipping this round?
