    Re: Maldonado confirmed at Lotus

Good news - this will keep Lotus on the grid, which is important.

    Re: Donkey of Brazil

The donkey of the race was obviously Red Bull. They are just too good. Watching masters at work is fine for one or two races but seeing a driver disappear into the distance in every race for months...

Re: Austin Cowboy of the Race

Valtteri Bottas - drove a car that often didn't make Q2 into points on merit.

Mark Webber for finishing 30 odd seconds behind the winner in a similar car.

    Re: Delhi's Donkey

Lotus is the clear donkey of the race. A long pitstop for Kimi and and strategy where he was supposed to drive from lap 7 to finish with the same tires. Permane is the special donkey for publicly...

Re: Driver of the Race - India

Perez gets the nod for me, drove the best race of his Mclaren career. Grosjean also drove well, an Kimi as well, even if the team botched his strategy and pitstop.

    Re: Donkey-san of the race

No particular donkeys for me. Kimi botched the start but finished fifth in a car that was capable of finishing 3rd when starting from the front, so not a donkey performance to me.

Re: Korean Kimi of the race

I wouldn't put Räikkönen above Grosjean this occasion. Grosjean had a better qualifying and a huge advantage before the SC. Kimi did well to overtake Romain, but other than that his opportunity was...

    Re: Kimi of the race

He overtook Grosjean without DRS in an identical car, but obviously a real expert like you knows best. A really knowledgeable about F1, arent you?

    Re: Singapore mule

Webber is the donkey of the race. He had a totally dominant car and would've finished fourth. The crowd is another donkey, they booed Vettel.

    Re: Kimi of the race

Kimi, Nando and Vettel of course. I don't understand the crowd, Vettel was great, it isn't his fault that the car is excellent.

    Re: Kimi to Ferrari confirmed

Everybody's got flaws, you're right on that. IMO Alonso's status in the team is no longer what it was, they wouldn't have hired Kimi if it was. Alonso's leadership has brought nothing to the team in...

    Re: Kimi to Ferrari confirmed

I don't think he needs to be political, he just needs people that understand him around him and he's got those now: James Allison, Pat Fry (knows him from Mclaren) Slade?, Domenicali. Who has...

    Re: Kimi to Ferrari confirmed

I think he can by staying out of politics and being his own man. IMO Ferrari understand him better now after having seen him at Lotus.

    Re: 2014 Silly Season

I agree, I think it's quite likely that we'll never see him again in F1 after this year. Why would anybody hire him?[/quote]

    Re: Kimi to Ferrari confirmed

You're underestimating Kimi here, I mean all the past evidence suggests that Kimi is one of the best drivers out there, so he'll certainly trouble Alonso, more than any other teammate in the past bar...
