That stages were organised by external group of people usually doing amateur races and cooperation was not working.

It was not acceptable to make rallysprint with only stages on circuit or roads around circuit. And organisers were not able to find/organise proper stages out of circuit.

I have renamed this thread to Wrc2 / Wrc3 - 2020 as this situation with WRC2 and WRC3 is confusing and in reality nobody knows which championship they will do in reality...

No, it will be similar concept like R5 or R2 - cars made and homologated by manufacturers.

I must say that Rallye du Var is completely different level. Most of amateur events in Czech has better organisation...

Sumava and Barum are sure as FIA ERC (or EHRC) events. Rest should be changed until final publication (but most probably dates will stay as mentioned).

I was on Rallye du Var 8 years ago and counted is as one of the worst rallies in terms of organisation of my life. I was persuaded to go there this year again and... ...almost nothing has improved...

He was starting in Var last year...

I think you are a bit optimistic. He won one event in his familiar conditions, but I am nost sure he should be so "fast" on others...

R4 was not made to beat R5 cars. It should be cheaper version for 4WD, to replace Mitsubishis and Subarus. On the other hand, it is difficult to judge performance of the car with this driver behind...

Dont forget that there is this year WRC2 champion :-)

Kopecky was on entry list only in case of "not good enough" result in Catalunya. So he will not start in Australia too.

Not true. Lukyanuk was also fast in ERC. Bonato in Monte and Corse in WRC. Pepe Lopez in Spain. Yohan Rossel in France.

Sorry, this is not stupid decision. Current system with top 10 can work in WRC where you have 11 WRC cars. But in ERC on most of the events you have 20-30 R5 cars and only top 10 for points is not...
