Although his first win on the RAC (first Brit since R.Clark) and the following home wins were pretty special too.

Spectators watching who just happen to be there anyway are different to fans visiting for the rally. Although many locals will be fans anyway.
That's correct - he is paying his way and helping to keep M-Sport in the WRC.

But why is this McCormack Escort going ?
Main issue according to the 4 knowledgable guys on the AR Podcast is that Rally3 will still be too expensive for beginners and too slow for the talented/ambitious/wealthy.
Time will tell.
Anyone who cant/hasnt listened to the AR Podcast, there was a consensus that the Rally3 car doesnt really make sense for the following reasons:
1. The rally 'ladder' isnt really used - no-one...
It'd be better if they could use M-Sport Poland though.
