You can have 20 or even 50 cars, but there will almost never be 10 that fight for the podium. There just aren't that many drivers on that level.

They will also cruise all saturday if they are far enough behind.

They could have easily stopped cruising without messing up the entire points system. just give everyone new tyres for the powerstage and give one point extra for every stage won.
